Exercises are suggested continually in class. Since a subject cannot be mastered from lectures alone, students are encouraged to work on the exercises and discuss them with their peers and the instructor.

More formal homework is assigned every couple of weeks, and due about a week later. The write-up should be done individually by each student; it will be graded.
