A Quantum Research Initiative Workshop

John Schaibley, Associate Professor of Physics and Optical Sciences and ORP Faculty Fellow for Quantum hosted a quantum research initiative workshop on December 16 in the Grand Challenges Research Building. The workshop attendees included faculty from across campus who discussed their quantum research projects and unique capabilities. During the workshop, researchers identified core areas of strength in quantum research at the University of Arizona (UA), and proposed areas of growth that would position UA at the forefront of quantum technology worldwide.
