Welcome Cheng Tao Yang
We are excited to welcome Cheng Tao Yang as an Instructional Specialist in the UA Physics Department!
Cheng Tao earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Arizona in 2023, specializing in cosmology and high-energy particle physics. He brings valuable teaching experience from his time as an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community College, where he taught both lecture and laboratory courses and worked closely with a diverse student body. Cheng Tao is passionate about making physics accessible and engaging through clear explanations and flexible teaching approaches. Outside of his academic work, he is an active member of the UA Kyudo Club, practicing traditional Japanese archery and contributing to the broader UA community.
